Standard strip curtains work well in most applications – but not all. In some places, a strip curtain is required. increased hygiene, resistance to chemicals, protection against insects and even protection against electrostatic discharge.

Applications and types of foils – overview
Antistatic curtain (Anti-static foil)
Properties:
Prevents the accumulation of electrostatic charges on surfaces, minimizing the risk of sparks and electrostatic discharges.
Transparent, transmitting light at a level comparable to glass panes.
Resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation, which ensures long-term durability of the material.
Resistant to chemicals, which allows for use in a variety of industrial environments.
Application:
Laboratories, electronics industry, server rooms, paint shops, flammable materials warehouses.
Environments where small electrostatic discharges can have serious consequences for safety and production.
Anti-insect curtain (Anti-insect foil)
The anti-insect foil was developed to effectively prevent insects from entering indoor spaces, which is particularly important in the food and catering industry.
Properties:
A transparent yellow-orange film containing an insect repellent, including the scent of lemongrass.
Effectively repels up to 80% insects such as mosquitoes and flies, and also eliminates 100% insects in contact with the material.
Resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation and most chemicals.
Application:
Food processing plants, catering establishments, food warehouses, breeding facilities.
Rooms where it is necessary to maintain a high level of hygiene and limit the presence of insects.
Antibacterial curtain
Antibacterial foil was created for environments where it is necessary to maintain a high level of hygiene and limit the growth of microorganisms on surfaces.
Properties:
Contains antibacterial additives, such as silver ions, which actively destroy bacteria and viruses on the surface of the film.
Effectively reduces the growth of microorganisms, providing long-lasting surface protection.
Resistant to disinfectants and steam, allowing for regular cleaning and disinfection.
Application:
Laboratories, food production plants, pharmacies, healthcare facilities.
Rooms where it is necessary to maintain a high level of hygiene and reduce the risk of contamination.
Food Contact Foil – for contact with food
Properties:
Meets the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 regarding materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
It has a PZH certificate and other certificates confirming the safety of use in the food industry.
Resistant to chemicals, does not absorb odors or moisture, which prevents cross-contamination.
It can be used in both dry and wet areas, in a temperature range from -15°C to +50°C.
Application:
Food processing plants, food warehouses, cold stores, packaging plants.
Rooms where it is necessary to ensure food safety and compliance with applicable standards.
Welding Curtain – Health Protection and Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Standards
Welding foil was developed to protect people near welding stations from the harmful effects of light radiation and small splinters.
Properties:
Meets the requirements EN ISO 25980 standards, which regulates optical safety in the context of protective curtains and screens during welding.
Absorbs harmful radiation UV and IR, while limiting the bright flashes of welding arc light.
Resistant to sparks, impacts and high temperatures – made of flame-retardant materials.
Available in transparent colors red and green, which allows you to maintain visibility in the work area while protecting bystanders.
Application:
Production halls, workshops, welding stations, separate work zones in industrial plants.
It can function as strip curtains, welding screens or curtains protecting specific areas.
Widths, thicknesses, variants
Like standard curtains, we also offer curtains made of specialized foils in several widths and thicknesses, depending on the application and conditions of use.
The most popular belt dimensions:
200 mm x 2 mm – most often used in zones with medium traffic intensity.
300 mm x 3 mm – for intensive trolley traffic or in conditions requiring more robust protection.
400 mm x 4 mm – for very wide and draft-prone openings.
Some foils (e.g. anti-insect or antibacterial) are also available in narrower or thinner versions, which are better suited for pedestrian entrances or small rooms.
Colors and transparency
Yellow-orange anti-insect foil signals a barrier to insects.
Green or red antistatic – indicates a zone protected against lightning.
Transparent with a delicate milky tint – standard version of „Food Contact” foil.
Slightly matte antibacterial foils – improve aesthetics and maintain optical clarity.
If you require maximum transparency (e.g. in control areas or for direct dosing), transparent variants with high light transmission are also available.
